Hilton has been recognised by the Great Place to Work® Institute as one of Australia’s best companies to work for in 2022, placing fifth on the top 50 list for companies with over 1,000 employees. This marks the fourth time that Hilton has been named to the top of this prestigious list and including being the only hospitality company recognised by the Great Place to Work Institute.

This accolade builds on Great Place to Work certifications awarded in New Zealand, Fiji and Papua New Guinea, and reaffirms Hilton’s achievement as the top hospitality company to work for in Asia since 2017.

Paul Hutton, area vice president and head of Australasia, Hilton, said, “We are absolutely thrilled to have been once again recognised by the Great Place to Work® Institute as the leading hospitality company to work for in Australia. This recognition is an incredible testament to our industry-leading practices and purpose-led culture that provides our Team Members with great workplace environments, diverse career opportunities and rewarding benefits. Despite enduring one of the most challenging times in our company’s more than 100-year history, our Team Members have remained committed to fostering a strong workplace culture for one another and have continued to live our purpose every day.”

Mary Hogg, regional director, human resources, Australasia, Hilton, added, “This accolade is an attribute to all of our dedicated Team Members who are the foundation of what we do; who work tirelessly and passionately to provide our guests with memorable and heartfelt experiences, and for that, we are committed to creating the best and most inclusive home at Hilton – a welcoming environment that fosters inclusion, wellness and growth and inspires our Team Members to bring their best selves to work every single day.”

Hilton creates almost 2,000 employment opportunities each year across its Australasia corporate office and hotels across Australia in the following locations: Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth, Albany, Surfers Paradise, Cairns, and the Northern Territory.
