Strengthening the cruise line’s commitment to long-term growth, Silversea Cruises has announced the appointment of Roberto Verdino as Senior Vice President of Revenue Management. Reporting to Barbara Muckermann, Chief Commercial Officer, Verdino will oversee Silversea’s Revenue operations, forecasting, and commercial planning.

Having garnered over 15 years of experience at Royal Caribbean International and Costa Cruises, as well as a period spent in the hospitality industry, Verdino joins Silversea with honed expertise that will bring great value to the cruise line at a time of global growth. Verdino has a proven record in leading successful teams throughout Europe and Asia, implementing effective strategies to maximise revenue opportunities.

Based in Silversea’s Monaco office, the Italian national completed the General Management programme at the ESCP business school, after studying Business Management at the University of Salerno, Italy.
