The house was built between 1923 and 1924, at the same time as the palace for King Rama 6. King Rama 6’s butler, Chao Phaya Prichayonthep, purchased a house and land from Phaya Choduekrajsetthi. The house now belongs to his descendants, who are determined not to let it change hands but instead to keep it as a memory. 111 Social House is now a storied past that is as memorable as it once was, classic, elite and full of happiness in the present.
