Get ready outdoor adventure lovers!! The National 4×4 Outdoors Show, Australia’s premiere outdoors lifestyle event, is set to debut this month at the Sydney Showgrounds from July 22nd – 24th.
For over two decades the National 4×4 Outdoors Show has played host to the biggest names and brands from the great outdoors with annual shows in Melbourne and Brisbane, continually breaking attendance records and wowing the crowds each year with bigger and better shows.
“We are excited to finally deliver Australia’s biggest outdoors show to Sydney, connecting locals to some of the most celebrated and prestigious outdoors brands and information,” Event Director, Jon Perry said.
Bringing together all the top products from the latest in campers, caravans and accessories, outdoor adventure, tourism and apparel, the event will also feature a host of live entertainment and activities, including informative presentations, 4WD demonstrations, reptile shows, a huge range of food and beverages options plus countless interactive displays and competitions.
“Over the past 12 months, we have witnessed a massive surge in people prioritising holidaying locally and exploring the great Australian Outdoors.
“With a number of new initiatives being introduced at the Sydney 4×4 Show, the debut event will not only give outdoor enthusiasts ‘all the know’ they need before they head off on their next outdoor adventure but will reinforce the event’s reputation as a must attend on the National events calendar.
“In addition to the wide range of tips, advice and insider hacks, there will be thousands of the latest products on display, with the usual complement of show-only specials and bargains.
“A great family day out, the 4×4 Show continues to evolve, with a concerted focus on educating and informing visitors, presenting value for both people new to the outdoors world, as well as experienced veterans,” Mr Perry said.

Aside from displays from the industry’s leading 4×4, caravanning and camping brands, Sydney’s debut 4×4 Show will showcase many interactive areas that have become long-time favourites of show goers Australia wide.
Leading the way will be the much loved, Outback Stage, which will play host to some of the finest and funniest of Australia’s off-roading television personalities.
Currently scheduled special guests include Jock McDonald, Shaun White and Graham Cahill from 4WD 24/7, Pat Callinan from Pat Callinan’s 4×4 Adventures, Brianna and Bridget from Red Dirt Diary, Sam Young from Fulcrum Suspensions and Barney Lewis from Built 4 Offroad.
Go off road on the Proving Ground with the team from ARMA, visitors can learn how to safely recover their vehicle and learn a range of tips and techniques to ensure their 4WDing adventure is a success. Plus, Friday ticket holders could win a ride in Jocko’s truck on the Friday of the show.
One of the longest running highlights of the 4×4 Show, the Action Arena, will keep visitors on the edge of their seats with its non-stop thrills and adrenaline pumping program from Freestyle Now BMX.
New attraction ‘Bush Mechanics’, running in partnership with ARMA, will educate and inform visitors on all the skills needed should they get stuck out in the bush. While our Garage Talk sessions give visitors access to all the expert tips, technical information and advice to get their vehicle outdoor adventure ready.
Car-enthusiasts should take note and drop by the Ryobi stand on Sunday, where Mighty Car Mods will be making a guest appearance.
You’ll be lured to the all new Shimano Fishing Tank Show, featuring a 10,000 litre 10-metre long fishing tank! Showcasing some of the best Shimano fishing gear and lures, each show will give a child from the audience the chance to ‘catch a fish’, with $1000 worth of prizes to be won during each session.
The Outback Hotel will be serving up tasty smoked BBQ treats with a side of live music. The location will also provide a dedicated meetup space for clubs and groups.
The team at Black Snake Productions will host a variety of interactive and informative shows on Australia’s reptile wildlife, with information that may one day save you from one of Australia’s many dangerous habitants.
The Show N Shine competition is the perfect opportunity for members to showcase their four wheeled beasts to peers and the public, with a wide assortment of rigs battling for honours in four different categories. Category winners will take home a range of prizes including $500, while the ‘Best in Show’ winners on both the Saturday and Sunday, will each take home a massive prize pack worth $8,000.
In other big news for the first ever National 4×4 Outdoors Show in Sydney, Australia’s favourite 4×4 personalities will be filming The Shed to a live audience, which will include Q&A’s and exclusive prize giveaways. Don’t miss your chance to be part of the episode as its being filmed.
