Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL), the innovator in global cruise travel, has announced an update to the territories of its Business Development Managers (BDMs) that reflects the ongoing growth of consumer confidence in cruise while optimizing support for valued trade partners.

The changes were cemented at the team’s first face-to-face event in two-and-a-half years, held recently at O’Reilly’s Retreat in the spectacular Gold Coast hinterland.

“It was an absolute delight to come together as an expanded team in person at last, to plan how we can best support our valued travel partners and help set up our sales team for further success as the return to cruise gathers momentum,” said Damian Borg, NCL’s AUNZ Sales Director. “We’ve been lucky enough to come together, reset and realign – and I’m confident we have the best team in the business to continue to deliver on our Partners First promise.”

NCL’s new BDM district responsibilities include:

· Craig McLaurin: Northern Territory & Queensland

· Jacinta Baker: Southern New South Wales, ACT & Western Australia

· Vanessa Green: Northern New South Wales & South Australia

· James McCullagh: Victoria & Tasmania

· Megan Porter: New Zealand

NCL’s brand-new Business Development Manager in New Zealand, Megan Porter, brings an exceptional reputation with local trade partners developed during more than 15 years in the travel and tourism fields – including eight years with Royal Caribbean Group, as well as prior roles with Air New Zealand and Cruise Holidays NZ. The appointment of a dedicated New Zealand BDM is another example of NCL’s Partners First promise, offering on-the-ground support to valued travel partners in New Zealand.

The new-look AUNZ sales team is led by Director of Sales, Damian Borg and Senior Manager Sales, Angela Middleton, with office-based support from Business Development Executive Nicki Harford and Sales Support Coordinators Tahlia Shaw and Samantha Morgan.

Agents can connect with NCL via the line’s dedicated “Book-a-BDM” platform today, at a time and in a way that suits their busy schedules.
