TRYP by Wyndham Pulteney Street Adelaide, a 120-room hotel which promises to be one of the city’s hippest new spots to stay, is assembling its pre-opening team as it gears up for a launch later this year.
Branded with the globally renowned TRYP by Wyndham brand name, the hotel will be fitted out before a slated opening date of mid-November or December this year. The final value of construction is expected to reach about AU$50 million.
“We have already started our search for a General Manager to open and manage the hotel. This person will be a unique character: an experienced hospitality professional able to lead a capable team with flair and creativity. We are looking for the type of person who has an instant ability to connect with guests, instinctively knows how to deliver thoughtful service and makes every experience memorable,” said Senior Vice President Operations, Wyndham Destinations Asia Pacific, Warren Cullum.
“TRYP by Wyndham hotels are designed to bring the best of the city to guests so they can fully immerse themselves in their destination. A TRYP team has an upbeat culture, knows the hidden gems to recommend and always delivers those important touches that make a stay truly personalised,” added Mr Cullum, who was previously a TRYP General Manager himself.
“TRYP by Wyndham hotels can be found in some of the world’s most exciting cities, including Barcelona, Jerusalem, Lisbon, Madrid, New York City, Sao Paulo and Dubai. We are looking for a lively team of people who understand Adelaide’s distinct personality and can showcase that to visitors from all over the world.”
TRYP by Wyndham Pulteney Street Adelaide will be managed by Wyndham Destinations Asia Pacific, which oversees a collection of approximately 70 hotel and resort properties in the Asia Pacific region.
Design work is currently underway on a ground floor a la carte restaurant and contemporary first-storey bar overlooking Pulteney Street. The hotel will also feature a gym, library, business centre and a boardroom for intimate meetings of up to 10 people.
TRYP by Wyndham Pulteney Street Adelaide will feature guest rooms in three categories: Standard, which will be studio-sized; Deluxe, with superior finishes and fittings; six more spacious corner suites and Executive Suites on the 11th floor with an eye-catching design and the highest level of finishes and fittings. With its CBD location and proximity to the Adelaide Zoo, Botanic Gardens, MOD., Art Gallery of South Australia and Adelaide Oval, the hotel is expected to appeal to leisure travellers, while business travellers will be positioned within walking distance of corporate offices and Rundle Mall. Calvary Adelaide Hospital is across the street.
All Wyndham Hotels & Resorts properties in Australia participate in Wyndham Rewards, the world’s most generous hotel rewards program with more than 50,000 hotels, vacation club resorts and vacation rentals worldwide.
