Think Inc. is proud to bring you the world-renowned theoretical physicist, Professor Brian Greene, live on stage in June 2022. Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth and Auckland will host fireside conversations where Brian will deconstruct our cosmic story in the hope of providing answers to some of our most challenging, ancient and existential questions.
Brian will also discuss topics he writes about in his groundbreaking new book Until the End of Time: Mind, Matter, and Our Search for Meaning in an Evolving Universe, which narrates the history of our universe from start to predicted end. He will show that while the pandemic has been perhaps the biggest challenge of our era, it is only a blip on the timeline of this universe which is pocked with periods of both peace and chaos.
Brian is most renowned for his groundbreaking discoveries in superstring theory, including the co-discovery of mirror symmetry and of spatial topology change. Apart from being highly respected in his fields of science, his work as an author has gained him a huge public following. His books The Elegant Universe, The Fabric of the Cosmos, and The Hidden Reality, have collectively spent 65 weeks on the New York Times bestseller list and sold more than 2 million copies worldwide. The Washington Post called him “the single best explainer of abstruse concepts in the world today.” His appearances on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert and the Joe Rogan Experience have been watched and listened to millions of times, and he has cameoed in numerous TV and film productions including The Big Bang Theory. Adding to this, Brian co-founded the World Science Festival and he is the Director of Columbia University’s Center for Theoretical Physics.
