Australia and New Zealand’s most celebrated designer hotel collection, QT Hotels & Resorts, continue to go from strength to strength with new leadership appointments. The award-winning group continues to support their people, celebrating internal talent and high-performing leaders at QT and parent company,  EVENT Hospitality and Entertainment.
Dominic Rose has been appointed the General Manager of QT Gold Coast. First joining EVENT in 2008, he has moved from General Manager of Rydges South Bank, to growing with QT Gold Coast, forming part of the opening team to his former role as Group Food & Beverage Director. With decades of experience leading food and beverage, Dominic will continue to exceed QT Gold Coast’s reputation as the Sunshine State’s designer destination for everything from it’s award-winning restaurants and bars, conferencing to boutique accommodation.
Cian McClafferty is QT Canberra’s newly appointed General Manager. Since joining EVENT in 2013, QT has always been close to his heart. His experience with the brand has seen him lead operations at the flagship QT Sydney, QT Bondi and QT Queenstown. With the past 3 years as General Manager at Rydges Cronulla, Cian looks forward to being reunited with QT and elevating QT Canberra’s status of playful, designer accommodation in the heart of the Capital.
