Privately Guided Tour at an Ancient Hawaiian Fish Pond
In partnership with Kualoa Ranch, the experience begins with the exclusive opportunity to journey to Kualoa’s 800-year-old sustainable Hawaiian fish pond, Moli‘i – listed on the National Register of Historic Places by the US Department of the Interior since 1973. Guests will be enveloped in precious Hawaiian nature with more than 4,000 acres of sacred land located on the east side of the island. The experience will invite guests on a private tour of Kualoa’s distinct farms, visiting the ancient fish pond, Moli‘i, and embarking on a hands-on experience in the lo‘i kalo (wetland taro field) to learn traditional Hawaiian farming—an ancient method that has kept the Hawaiian Islands sustainable pre-contact.
