Pride of AmericaNorwegian Cruise Line is counting down to the return of Hawai’ian island cruising from 22 January 2022 on board Pride of America – becoming the line’s 13th vessel to return to sailing as part of its Great Cruise Comeback.
Following the re-launch of direct flights between Australia and Hawai’i, NCL’s 7-day Inter-Island roundtrip itinerary will once again depart Honolulu every Saturday, 52 weeks a year. And with itineraries through to December 2025 recently opened for sale, travellers can choose to cruise when it suits them.
As the only major cruise line to offer year-round inter-island cruises in Hawai’i, Pride of America visits four islands in seven days, including two overnight stays in Maui and Kaua’i, no sea-days and offering more than 70 shore excursions to truly take in Hawai’i’s lush scenery, pristine beaches, and rich cultural heritage. The voyage has been voted ‘Best Hawai’i Itinerary’ 15 years running by Porthole Cruise Magazine.
“With direct flights to Honolulu taking off this month and cruises recommencing in January, a heavenly Hawai’ian holiday aboard Pride of America is the ideal close-to-home escape for cruisers who can’t wait to set sail again,” said Ben Angell, NCL Vice President and Managing Director, APAC. “No one does Hawai’i like Norwegian, plus with savings of up to 35% on cruise fares, there’s never been a better time to book the holiday of a lifetime”.
Pride of America’s immersive itinerary visits the four islands of O’ahu, Maui, The Big Island of Hawai’i and Kaua’i , with bucket-list highlights including an afternoon cruise along the Nā Pali Coast, famed for its dramatic emerald cliffs, flowing waterfalls and astounding natural beauty – all best viewed by sea.
A cost-effective way to discover the delights of multiple Hawai’ian Islands compared to a traditional land package or island-hopping tour, Pride of America’s extensive onboard entertainment, dining and relaxation options ensure guests have an abundance of places to eat, drink and unwind after a day spent exploring.
On board, guests can choose from 14 dining options, including two main dining rooms, as well as specialty dining favourites such as Cagney’s Steakhouse, La Cucina and Jefferson’s Bistro. After dark, the 10 bar and lounge options include Pink’s Champagne Bar, Waikiki Bar, the New Orleans inspired Mardi Gras Cabaret Lounge & Nightclub, and Broadway-style shows at the Hollywood Theatre.
For a change of pace, guests can take a refreshing dip in the Oasis Pool or Miami-inspired South Beach Pool, be pampered with a choice from more than 50 treatments at Mandara Spa or relax with a book in the glass-walled Conservatory. Guests can also learn about Hawai’ian culture through the eyes of native ambassadors who are part of the ship’s crew.
