Hertz Australia is increasing the minimum number of Velocity Frequent Flyer Points customers can earn when renting with Hertz. Red members can now earn 4 Points for every $1 spent when hiring a car with Hertz across Australia and New Zealand, an increase of 1 Point per dollar spent.
The number of Velocity Points customers earn is based on their Velocity membership status.
For every $1 spent, Silver members earn 4.5 Points, Gold members earn 5.25 Points and Platinum members earn 6 Points.
Eoin MacNeill, Vice President, Hertz Asia Pacific said: “Now that the borders are re-opening, we are pleased to offer our loyal customers an extra reward as a thank you for their patience and support. Velocity members can spend the Points they earn when renting with Hertz on flight upgrades, hotels and more, enhancing their overall travel experience.”
To celebrate the Points increase, Hertz and Velocity have launched a competition to give away a total of one million Velocity Points to four lucky customers who will win 250,000 Points each.
“We’re excited for Velocity Frequent Flyer customers to increase their Points balance through our one million Points promotion with Hertz,” said a Velocity Frequent Flyer spokesperson.
