SeaLink expands into the Whitsundays with unique day cruiseGearing up for the return of interstate tourism, SeaLink has expanded its tourism services with a one-in-a-kind Whitsundays day cruise in the popular Queensland holiday region.
SeaLink’s “Big Island Day Tour” offers visitors a unique cruise around many of the islands in the Whitsundays following the Whitsunday Ngaro Sea Trail and will take guests to places that no other day tour goes to said Rob Mitchell, General Manager Whitsundays at SeaLink Marine & Tourism.
“We want to provide something different for visitors to the Whitsundays to experience and enjoy, whilst also taking in the must-do beauty spots that this region is world-renowned for.”
The cruise takes in the Molle group of islands, Cid Harbour, Hook Island, Whitsundays Passage, Whitehaven Bay, Hamilton Island, Dent Island and more, as well as stopping off at the popular Tongue Point Hill Inlet and Whitehaven Beach to allow guests to explore more.
“Our cruise takes in many of the amazing islands in the region stopping off at Hill Inlet and the famous Whitehaven Beach for guests to sink their toes into the powder-white silica sand and relax with a dip in the crystal-clear waters.
SeaLink has modified the MV Nancy Wake, especially to suit the new day tour to give customers the best possible Whitsundays cruise experience in complete comfort. Being an air-conditioned double-hulled catamaran means the Nancy Wake also provides a smoother cruise experience for guests.
“We have a custom-built tender to transfer guests to Whitehaven Beach and to Tongue Point at Hill Inlet, as well as installed tables and chairs so our passengers can come back to dine in air-conditioned comfort on the vessel all throughout the day.
SeaLink expands into the Whitsundays with unique day cruiseThe SeaLink Big Island Day Tour provides stunning views throughout the day and includes:

  • Gourmet lunch, morning and afternoon teas served in air-conditioned comfort onboard the vessel
  • Guided tours of both the Hill Inlet and South Whitehaven lookouts
