Spread the love

From 28 November to 25 December 2021, Slingology unveils its fifth instalment at Long Bar with bespoke tropical cocktail creations from Junior The Pocket Bar – a locally rooted, modern bar that serves as a collaborative showcase of Singapore’s vibrant craft scene. Launched on the inaugural Singapore Sling Day, 27 June 2021, Slingology evolves monthly to present exquisite Sling-inspired tipples that are carefully crafted by top cocktail bars in Singapore.

Savour a taste of the tropics with the refreshing Farquhar Sling, Junior The Pocket Bar’s rendition of the iconic Singapore Sling, concocted from Tepache, Plantation Pineapple Rum, champagne, and cherry liqueur. The delectable result: a sweet and cider-like effervescent cocktail, tempered by nutty afternotes and a smokey finish.

Discover the captivating aromas and flavours of the forest in your glass with two other new creations: the evocative Killer Queen crafted with Citadelle Original Gin, elderflower liqueur, and blueberry rhubarb syrup; and the balanced yet earthy Barbegazi’s Beard, featuring a combination of mezcal, orange oil and aromatic notes of almond and lavender.

Exclusively on 28 November, Sunday, from 3pm to 9pm, Head Bartender and Owner of Junior The Pocket Bar, Hazel Long, will make a special appearance behind the bar to kick off this exciting month-long collaboration.

Now into its fifth instalment, Slingology will continue its star-studded line-up in 2022 with Native Bar  from 9 January – 5 February 2022.
