MCEC is proud to have launched a new end-to-end virtual and hybrid event offering to market, with a showcase event ‘Defy All Conventions,’ attended by more than 300 people, both online and in-person.

The event included a comprehensive demonstration of what the industry leading platform has to offer and exhibited the new ways of connecting groups and audiences.
The leading digital events platform is complemented by a comprehensive suite of virtual and hybrid event planning and delivery services. These include dedicated digital event managers, expert inhouse tech support, and access to our world class events team, facilities and food & beverage for guests attending in person.
MCEC is proud to have launched this union of state-of the-art technology, in-house expertise, and world class facilities and refer to it as ‘Connected Event Design.’
Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre CEO Peter King said he is thrilled to see MCEC leading the charge with world class technology.

The event included an address from Mr King, MP The Hon. Jaala Pulford, and keynote speaker Lisa McInnes-Smith about the importance of shifting behaviour and finding new ways of thinking and influencing.
There also included a panel session with Richard Curtis CEO FutureBrand Australia,
Paul Hamshere Commercial Product Principal, Helen Fairclough Chief Operations Officer MCEC and Melissa Sweetland Chief Commercial Officer MCEC.
There was also a demonstration of the video capabilities of the platform with Peter Haycroft, Executive Chef MCEC as well as a more technical walk through with MCEC technology experts.
