To help Australian hotels capitalise early on rebounding international travel and target global travellers heading to Australian shores, Agoda has launched Welcome Back Australia, where partners signing up to the campaign can offer special international deals with discounts of up to 10%, to target and convert early inbound travellers.

The move comes as Australia announces a new vaccinated travel lane with Singapore (from November 8, 2021) besides the existing travel bubble with New Zealand, and the previous announcement that its vaccinated returning citizens no longer have to quarantine.

Taking part in hotel partners in Australia will benefit from Agoda’s extensive global multi-channel promotion targeting inbound travellers who will be the first to arrive in Australia since the pandemic began.

It will feature hotel partners across the platform’s product and marketing touchpoints, including a dedicated landing page for international travel to Australia (which will be launched in early November), social media campaigns, customer and affiliate marketing.

The Welcome Back Australia campaign follows a raft of Agoda initiatives designed to help Australian hoteliers navigate changing travel restrictions and pivot to capture the resurgent demand domestically and internationally.

Welcome Back has been launched in Europe and selected markets across the Asia Pacific.
