Spread the love

Virgin Australia’s statement following the quarantine arrangements was foreshadowed by the NSW Government today. We have also made a significant announcement to extend our booking flexibility to 30 April 2022, to give travellers even more confidence and certainty when planning their next trip.

The following statement can be attributed to a Virgin Australia Group spokesperson:

We welcome the arrangements foreshadowed by the NSW Government to end quarantine requirements for fully vaccinated travellers.

It’s fantastic news for travellers, the aviation industry, and the thousands of businesses and communities in the state who rely on open borders and the economic injection that tourism provides.

Virgin Australia is fully supportive of all measures that help facilitate a safe return to open travel and to the way of life we all value so much.

We look forward to other states and territories also resuming inbound tourism for fully vaccinated travellers, once we have reached vaccination thresholds.

Even more flexibility to book with Virgin Australia

Today is the start of a new chapter for Australian travel and to provide even more certainty and confidence for Virgin Australia customers to make a booking, we have extended our Flexible Flying policy to 30 April 2022.
