To embrace the #WFA trend, Wild Luxury is offering guests the chance to relocate their laptops to Crane Lodge in Palm Beach for a ‘hybrid holiday’ when restrictions ease. For workers who desperately need a change of scenery once lockdown lifts, they will pay for five nights and stay seven.
“We know workers everywhere are going to need time away from home and not all of them will have banked up annual leave to take a week off. Some might be fellow business owners who still need to keep on top of their workload but can juggle a hybrid holiday,” says Kim Ellis, Founder of Wild Luxury who have two properties only an hour’s drive from Sydney.
“We have an incredible set up at Crane Lodge for people to get work done whilst enjoying time in the surrounding natural landscape,” she says. “The perfect day for me starts with a meditative paddleboard out on the calm waters of Pittwater, touching base with my team while traversing Crane Lodge’s native gardens, lunch with family and a dip in the pool before my husband and I tagteam for an afternoon session – he in the treetop office with its tranquil water views – and the kids and I down at the beach. We always reunite for golden hour sundowners and a BBQ dinner under our Moreton Bay fig tree. Once the kids are asleep, the adults naturally drift out to the hot tub.”
The deal is valid for bookings before 30 August for travel between 1 September 2021 and 31 March 2022. Each booking is entitled to one free postponement within 24 months (extended from 12 months).
The lodge is suspended at the apex of endangered angophora bushland and immersed in 360 degrees of lush wilderness, meaning guests are transported to a world away from the hustle of the everyday.
There are five bedrooms and an open outdoor fire pit that looks across the canopy, a heated swimming pool, 38 degree cedar hot tub, large outdoor dining area and a self-contained guest house allowing extra privacy for large families or two families travelling together.
Guests who embrace the offer, can tap into Crane Lodge’s concierge service by arranging a masseuse, beautician, onsite chef or private sunrise yoga and meditation classes on the deck. There are several quiet zones for uninterrupted work, many overlooking the lush bushland.

“Our guests are protected with our new flexible postponement policy, which allows for one free rescheduling within 24 months, and we hope, provides some peace of mind if life intervenes,” says Kim.
Further deferrals can be made for an administration fee.
