Credited as the birthplace of the Tequila Sunrise at its famous Frank Lloyd Wright-inspired Wright Bar (reimagined in May 2021 as part of a property-wide transformation), tequila has been part of the Arizona Biltmore’s DNA since 1929. Bringing the same passion for tequila, today the recently opened Renata’s Hearth restaurant touts an impressive selection of tequilas and mezcals, embracing the spirit in a bold and modern way.

    • Now offering margaritas to-go
    • Flights will be served by Renata’s “Flight Attendant” on new bar cart that can be pushed around the restaurant

    • Tickets include three specialty cocktails and small bites

  • The Wright Bar
    • ​Lean into history of Tequila Sunrise: Try The Wright Bar’s legendary Tequila Sunrise, first mixed by an Arizona Biltmore bartender as a poolside cocktail for a guest during the late 1930s or early 1940s. As the legend goes, a loyal and longtime repeat guest had returned to the Arizona Biltmore and told Sulit that he loved tequila, “But was looking for a refreshing beverage to enjoy poolside, and asked Gene to surprise him.” So right then and there Sulit created the iconic cocktail made famous in songs, movies, and American pop culture.
    • The resort has reinvented the Tequila Sunrise to have a fresh, modern taste.
