Spread the love

The Lux Collective is pleased to introduce Tamassa Bel Ombre‘s brand-new look! Derived from the word tamasha which means party in Creole, Tamassa’s three syllables evoke the pounding beat of the tam-tam drum, a rallying call to gather family and friends to experience Tamassa’s fresh take on services and experiences that are designed to bring people closer and leave happier than when they arrived.

“Life can be all-consuming. Technology has all of us constantly in demand, continuously plugged in and increasingly stressed out. What suffers most are relationships – we spend less time with those most deserving our time and when we do, we’re rarely truly present. Tamassa was conceived to help our guests reconnect with their closest and dearest during their precious holiday,” said Julian Hagger, executive vice president of The Lux Collective.

Tamassa Bel Ombre in Mauritius launches its new concept offering guests creative, vibrant and playful Together You’ll Love experiences. From thoughtful, unexpected in-room treats for sharing; to children discovering the joy of friendships with back-to-basics playtime without the distraction of digital services.

Immerse in the neighbourhood spirit around the dining table where good food and drinks, and even better conservation take centre stage. With three dining establishments and three upbeat bars to choose from, banters will be kept flowing late into the night with live music and a specialty cocktail in hand.

Those looking to recharge after this extended stay-at-home period will have plenty of options at santosha spa. Wellness at Tamassa Bel Ombre is not just limited to restorative spa treatments; let go of sorrows or regrets in a healing ritual; engage in a spot of laughter therapy to get those endorphins flowing; or release stress with an aerial yoga session that will also improve flexibility, strength and stamina.

Reestablish and re-discover friendships whether it is a romantic escapade, family bonding experience or a self-restorative journey you seek, Tamassa Bel Ombre offers an experience vacationers will want to relive.

In-resort all-inclusive packages start from EUR268 for two persons nightly, which includes wellness activities, cooking sessions, mixology classes using local Mauritian rum as well as a variety of games and events to keep children entertained. Complimentary PCR tests and return coach transfers are included for a minimum stay of four nights.

Travellers to Mauritius must present a negative PCR test between five and seven days before departure. A PCR test will also be conducted on arrival at the airport as well as day seven and 14 during their resort holiday as applicable.

Phase two will start from 1 October 2021 and will allow vaccinated travellers to enter Mauritius without restrictions upon presentation of a negative PCR test taken within 72 hours before departure.

Those seeking an off-grid paradise can enjoy a complimentary day trip to the idyllic private island, Ile Des Deux Cocos, for bookings confirmed before 30 September 2021. Guests staying between 1 October and 31 December 2021 can spend a day snorkelling in a protected marine reserve at Ile Des Deux Cocos, followed by a beach barbecue with freshly caught seafood. Sip on homemade infused rum cocktails and explore The Villa, the islet’s historical landmark once home to the British governor, Sir Hesketh Bell, built in the 1920s.
