Qatar Airways continues to strengthen its position as the leading international airline, announcing that it will expand its European services with increased frequencies being added to the network as cities reopen for travel.

In July, the airline will begin offering daily flights to Belgrade and four weekly flights to Moscow. Copenhagen services will increase to 10 weekly flights, and both Madrid and Stockholm will increase to 11 weekly flights. The expanded flights come as international markets begin to reopen for travel, including key European destinations such as Spain, France, Germany, Switzerland, Malta, Croatia and Romania.

Qatar Airways’ Vice President Australasia & North Asia, Mr. Thomas Scruby, said: “We are proud to be the leading international airline providing safe and reliable connectivity to and from Europe for passengers who need to travel. As we continue to lead the recovery of international travel, we will remain focused on providing seamless, safe and reliable connectivity to our millions of customers and providing an unparalleled travel experience every time they choose to fly with Qatar Airways.”

The increased European services are in addition to the carrier also expanding flights to several of its key global leisure destinations in July, including to the US (Miami, Boston, Chicago, Atlanta, Philadelphia), Tbilisi, Alexandria and Kilimanjaro – Dar Es Salaam, providing more flexible travel options via the Best Airport in the Middle East, Hamad International Airport.
