Walking tour operator Life’s An Adventure has announced three new PACK-FREE GUIDED WALKS in tropical Queensland.

First up is the 5-day MACKAY HIGHLANDS AND CAPE HILLSBOUROUGH NATIONAL PARK WALK. Exploring sections of the Mackay Highlands Great Walk, clients will see breathtaking scenery from lush rainforests and dense palm groves to dramatic cliffs and cascading waterfalls.

This itinerary also includes a day walking around the Cape Hillsborough National Park on the Hibiscus Coast north of Mackay where the rainforest meets the ocean with views to the Whitsundays Islands.

Speaking of which, the next new walk is the 7-day WHITSUNDAYS SAIL AND WALK. Clients start the adventure on a section of the Whitsundays Great Walk, showcasing grand vistas out to the 74 islands that make up the Whitsundays that they’ll be exploring some of, over the next few days.

Their unique base for this adventure is on the historic tallship Solway Lass where they’ll sail through the Whitsundays taking in views of aqua-marine water, tropical islands and white sparkling beaches. Whilst island-hopping guests will enjoy a variety of inspiring trails. Highlights include visiting Whitehaven Beach, Hill Inlet Lookout as well as enjoying plenty of snorkelling and seafood.

And the final new pack-free guided walk is the 7-day TROPICS WORLD HERITAGE WALK in FNQ exploring the Daintree Rainforest and Cape Tribulation. Clients will see postcard-perfect views of roaring waterfalls, gigantic tropical trees, sprawling mangroves and golden beaches.

As an added highlight of this tour, clients hike out on Dunk Island with the possibility of seeing cassowaries and dugongs, tree-kangaroos.  And how’s this for accommodation: 1 night at the Shangri-La Hotel, Cairns; 2 nights in Heritage Lodge in the Daintree; 2 nights in Eden House Retreat, Atherton Tablelands and 2 nights at Castaways Resort and Spa, Mission Beach.
