Plenty of bucket lists will be crossed off this year at the 20th Argyle Diamonds Ord Valley Muster in Kununurra from 21 to 29 May 2021.

With one week to go and with most events sold out, eager attendees are set to have the time of their life at ‘Australia’s Best Regional Event’ in the stunning East Kimberley region.

The Kimberley Fine Diamonds Dinner is sold out, the Airnorth Garden Bar at the Aviair HeliSpirit Kimberley Moon Experience is sold out, but the good news is that there is just over 100 tickets left in general admission available.

Performing at the ‘Moon’ this year on 22 May is Indigenous superstar singer-songwriter, Jessica Mauboy, who has a swag of ARIA awards, hit singles, Platinum selling albums as well as awards as an actress since she first shot to fame in 2006.

Joining Mauboy is Busby Marou, whose success includes millions of global streams, top 20 airplay and four ARIA charting albums.

Supporting Mauboy and Busby Marou at the ‘Moon’ is Emily Wurramara, a six-time Queensland Music Award winner with her debut album ‘Milyakburra’ receiving an ARIA nomination and AIR award for Best Blues and Roots Album.

This year, the Ord Valley Events team has hand-picked a star-studded, award-winning comedy lineup that’ll guarantee good times starring the brilliantly funny comics Fiona O’Loughlin, Ivan Aristeguieta, and Kevin Kropinyeri.

Comedy in the Park on Tuesday 25 and Wednesday 26 May is expected to sell out with the last tickets remaining, and this is a show not to miss.

Ord Valley Events chairman, Beau Robinson, encouraged people to get in quickly.

“In the past, the comedy lineup has been a mix of established and up-and-coming comedians, but not this year, for our big 20-year milestone we’ve curated a show with comedy royalty, rip-roaring comedians that will have people rolling in laughter,” said Mr. Robinson.

The Corroboree has sold out, but there are some tickets available for the new Storytelling Night on Thursday 27 May by the Mirima Dawang Woorlab-gerring Language and Culture Centre (MDWg) where the ancient art of communication and the story of storytelling will be shared. After an introduction to your storyteller and the Miriwoong Country, there’ll be tales of the station days, the passing on of tradition, a dance performance and a Miriwoong language lesson.

“Intergenerational learning through storytelling forms a significant part of our culture and by sharing this as part of our program, we anticipate the experience will be something special,” Mr. Robinson said.

“The new Storytelling Night is one I’m very much looking forward to and we expect this one to sell out.

“I’m also looking forward to Party in the Park because it’s free and brings the whole community together – but you need to register to get your free ticket.”

Tickets are required for Party in the Park on Friday 28 May, a family-friendly event that includes the hotly contested ‘Diamond Dig’ and are available for free at www.ordvalleymuster.com.au.

Wild Walks, Yoga Boats, Morning Ord River Muster Experience, Secluded Islands Long Table Lunch, Explore with Lamparangana Fishing Adventures, Waringarri Art Centre Experience, Exclusive Bullo River Lunch and Station Tour, the Muster Rodeo and Stockman’s High Tea are all sold out.
