Hyatt Regency Brisbane is delighted to announce the appointment of Saraid Carey to the position of General Manager. Hyatt’s first property in Brisbane and return of the Hyatt brand to the state of Queensland, recently opened on 1 February, 2021.

A highly engaging and dynamic leader, Saraid returns home to Australia, most recently as pre-opening General Manager of Hyatt Regency Koh Samui, Thailand. With over 18 years of hotel leadership experience, Saraid has previously held positions as opening General Manager of Hyatt Place Bangkok, Hotel Manager Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok, EAM Sales and Marketing Grand Hyatt Melbourne, Director of Events and pre-opening team member of Park Hyatt Melbourne.

Additionally, Saraid was part of The Starlight Children’s Foundation as National Events Manager, and was the General Manager of Business Development and Partnerships, for L’Oréal Melbourne Fashion Festival, the largest consumer Fashion Festival globally, from 2009 to 2010.
