Mr. Nond Kalinta, Executive Vice President, Commercial, Thai Airways International Public Company Limited (THAI), stated that in response to the government policy to boost local businesses and inbound tourists in Phuket affected by the Covid-19 situation, THAI will operate the following two special flights from Frankfurt, Germany, Europe’s travel hub, to Phuket in April and May:
- Flight TG921, which will depart from Frankfurt at 14.45 hours (local time) on 2 April 2021 and arrive in Phuket at 07.10 hours of the next day
- Flight TG921, which will depart from Frankfurt at 14.45 hours (local time) on 7 May 2021 and arrive in Phuket at 07.10 hours of the next day.
THAI is prepared to operate flights to support the government’s initiatives in boosting the national economy, while facilitating employment and revenue generation in the tourism sector. Furthermore, THAI strictly complies with the COVID-19 preventive measures in passenger accommodation. After every flight, all passenger cabins will undergo a disinfectant process and deep cleaning. Passengers travelling with THAI will go through mandatory quarantine in accordance to the Government’s requirement.
