QT Hotels in New Zealand are encouraging their guests to get grounded in delicious downtime. With every luxurious sleepover, QT will offer complimentary in-room yoga and meditation content in partnership with Studio Red Wellness. Available to all guests via on-demand video and with a mat on request, the bespoke yoga and meditation capsule collection dubbed Get Grounded is now available at QT Auckland, QT Queenstown and QT Wellington.

“QT and Studio Red Wellness are putting wellbeing front and centre for our guests with three meditations and three yoga classes available on demand,” says Simon White, General Manager Operations New Zealand at EVENT Hotels and Resorts.

The guided practices are tailored to guests travelling for both business and pleasure, inviting them to find some time to truly unwind. The capsule ranges from an energising flow and re-centring focus meditation to restorative self-care and movement to release your day’s energy before bedtime. Led by Auckland-based Studio Red Wellness’s highly experienced teachers, the sessions take cues from the designer guest rooms and use bed pillows as props for support and maximum comfort.

Studio Red Wellness Studio Director Holly Cook says, “Studio Red teachers have tailored these classes for QT’s beautiful in-room environments, specifically with their guests in mind. Our aim was to create a studio-quality teaching experience so it’s simple to roll out a mat, relax, and tend to your practice with expert instruction from the complete comfort of your room.”

In Auckland, guests can also take their experience one step further with classes available at Studio Red Wellness located in City Works Depot, with special rates for a one week pass or drop-in class.

Wellness doesn’t stop there at QT. Throughout March and April, guests can tap into the expert knowledge of Wellness Mixologists popping up at QT bars across New Zealand. In partnership with No Ugly, a brand with a spunky attitude and wellness tonics that are delicious and with a clear functional benefit, QT’s mixologists will mix up a range of wellness elixirs and health-inspired cocktails and mocktails to help you get back to gorgeous in no time.

With menu items like a Glam Model Martini, TeaTox or Mind Food, guests will have the option to “strengthen” their elixir with a spirit should they wish. Injecting signature quirk with a scalable approach to health, QT bars will have options for the strictest of teetotallers to those looking for a sprinkling of spirit to their tonic or adding nourishment to their night out.

No Ugly Co-Founder Aaron Taylor says, “At No Ugly we strive to remove the ugly from all aspects of our lives daily. It’s all about balance. So partnering with QT to develop delicious, conscious wellness cocktails is exciting. Their team of mixologists have created amazing cocktails and mocktails so you can indulge and not feel guilty about it. And they look gorgeous too.”

On Tuesday, 30th March, QT Auckland is celebrating both offerings by inviting guests and locals to a complimentary community yoga class led by Studio Red Wellness, followed by No Ugly mocktails to kickstart the day, complete with sweeping views from Rooftop at QT.
