The largest steamboat ever built, the grand American Queen, will become a glam ‘Dancing Queen’ during three special, 70s-themed music cruises along America’s greatest rivers in 2022.

The American Queen Steamboat Company is offering exclusive savings of up to US$1000 per couple for bookings made by March 31, 2021.

Journey back in time to the colourful, celebrated era of ABBA, the Bee Gees, Donna Summer, Stevie Wonder, Queen, disco balls, tie-dyed shirts, bell-bottom jeans, headbands and gold medallions. The American Queen Steamboat Company’s iconic, 417-guest paddlewheeler, American Queen, will take nostalgic travellers on three 70s-themed journeys along America’s heartland rivers in June and October, 2022.  Each seven-night voyage will come alive with the classic hits and fashion of the 70s.

The American Queen Steamboat Company is offering Australians a special eight-night holiday package including a one-night, pre-cruise hotel stay. The packages are available on:

* June 12, 2022 – for a cruise along the Cumberland and Ohio rivers from Nashville to Louisville

* June 26, 2022 – for a cruise along the Mississippi and Tennessee rivers between the music capitals of Nashville and Memphis

* October 2, 2022 – for a cruise along the Mississippi River from Memphis to Alton

Each week-long cruise will be aboard the American Queen Steamboat Company’s famed flagship, American Queen – a modern but gracious celebration of America’s historic riverboats.  The stately and elegant river ship boasts Victorian-era décor, gleaming woodwork, a Grand Saloon, fine dining restaurant, café, grill restaurant, lounges, theatre, pool, gym, spa sanctuary, Ladies’ Parlor, Gentlemen’s Card Room and lavish stage shows that pay homage to American history.
