According to a report in Cruise Industry News, Royal Caribbean International’s Quantum of the Seas has gone through boarding on December 1 and departing Singapore and is enjoying its first full day at sea on December 2 on its first cruise since the company paused operations earlier this year.

With just over 1,000 guests aboard, it is reported that boarding was seamless and issue free and onboard the report says that the ship is quiet, with Singapore Cruise Society . a leading cruising blog and community in Southeast Asia, onboard and providing an insight at an adjusted cruise experience, which may well be what a Royal Caribbean Cruise from Australia may look like in the future.

Quantum of the Seas is expected to run a four-month deployment of short cruises out of Singapore’s Marina Bay terminal, open exclusively to local residents from Singapore.
