Accor has announced the opening of Novotel Hanoi Thai Ha, located in the heart of the bustling Dong Da District. The hotel is the group’s seventh property in the Vietnamese capital.
The new hotel offers 338 spacious rooms, studios, apartments and suites, providing guests with an ideal home away from home for both short and extended stays.
“Novotel Hanoi Thai Ha Hotel is our 35th property in Vietnam, one of our most attractive travel markets in the region. With more than 85 million domestic tourists in 2019, we see huge potential for residents of Vietnam to drive growth for our hotels in the coming months with international travel still limited. Thanks to our new Novotel address in the cultural and artistic centre of Hanoi, local residents now have another option to disconnect from their busy lives and make time to connect with their family and friends,” said Patrick Basset, Chief Operating Officer of Accor, Upper Southeast & Northeast Asia and the Maldives.
Surrounded by residential areas, universities, office buildings and shopping centres, Novotel Hanoi Thai Ha is located in the heart of Dong Da District. Local retail stores, art spaces and vibrant street life can be found throughout the area.
The hotel boasts Novotel’s signature architectural design with modern aesthetics amidst the bustling crossroads of Thai Ha street and Tay Son Street. Spaces are carefully designed with contemporary living areas to enhance guests’ life balance and sense of wellbeing.
Each of the hotel’s 338 rooms and suites offer airy spaces, natural light and unique wall art. All rooms feature the signature LIVE N DREAM bed design with memory foam mattress with pocket springs, which adapts to the shape of your back and Smart Pillows, which you can fold when sitting up and unfold for sleeping for a good night’s rest.
Dining outlets include an all-day restaurant Food Exchange that offers a breakfast and lunch buffet in addition to a la carte options while the Gourmet Bar offers a range of healthy sandwiches, salads and light snacks.
Overlooking the evening skyline, the Rooftop Bar presents a selection of cocktails, mocktails and wines with light dishes. Snacks and refreshing beverages are also available at the poolside bar, Aqua. Guests staying in the Executive Apartments and Suites can enjoy light canapés, snacks and drinks at the Premier Lounge located on the hotel’s 26th floor.
Leisure facilities include the In Balance fitness centre, outdoor heated swimming pools, sauna and Jacuzzi. Families travelling with young children can enjoy board games and a range of fun activities in the Kids’ room.
For meetings, events and conferences, Novotel Hanoi Thai Ha boasts eleven meeting rooms that can host up to 480 guests. All function rooms are equipped with WiFi access, built-in LCD projectors and multiple, large scale drop-down screens, lighting, sound system and state-of-the-art multi-media equipment.
With its convenient location, the hotel offers easy access to Hanoi’s many sightseeing attractions. Guests can visit Go Dong Da (Dong Da Mound), a historical monument just a few minutes’ walk from the hotel. The Temple of Literature, One Pillar Pagoda and Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum are all within a four-kilometre radius.
“Home to the Temple of Literature, an 11th-century Confucian complex, guests will benefit from convenient access to many of the city’s highlights as well as the bustling night scene that includes popular bars and trendy cafes. Guests staying at Novotel Hanoi Thai Ha can look forward to visiting various tourist attractions such as Hoan Kiem Lake and the Old Quarter which is just a short drive away”, said Christophe Pairaud, Cluster General Manager of Novotel Hanoi Thai Ha and Novotel Suites Hanoi.
