Though only announced in July, Viking’s brand-new 2021-2022 Viking World Cruise – spanning 136 days, 27 countries and 56 ports – is proving incredibly popular for travellers, with the majority of staterooms almost completely sold out.

“We’re thrilled but not surprised at the incredible appetite for our 2021-2022 World Cruise, of which a considerable number of bookings come from Aussie and Kiwi guests. And all of them for the complete voyage from the US to the UK, which means it’s highly unlikely we’ll be releasing shorter segments for sale,” said Michelle Black, Viking ANZ Managing Director.

“Our guests tell us that they’re itching to travel again, when the time is right. So when that time comes, they want to make the most of their precious time. This voyage does just that, allowing for extensive exploration across five continents for curious travellers,” she continued.

”If you’ve been considering our 2021-2022 world cruise, I encourage you to secure your stateroom before it’s too late,” she concluded.

Setting sail on 24 December 2021 from Fort Lauderdale on board Viking’s award-winning 930-guest Viking Star, the voyage includes 11 overnight stays as well as three brand-new ports of call for Viking: Phillip Island in Victoria, Eden in NSW and Yangon in Myanmar.

From Fort Lauderdale, the epic voyage will explore ports of call in Central America; transit through the Panama Canal; journey up the West Coast of North America before calling upon Hawaii; traverse New Zealand and Australia; and sail through Asia, the Middle East and the Mediterranean before concluding in London.

Like her sister ships in Viking’s all-new small ship fleet, the 930-guest Viking Star boasts plenty of space, all-veranda staterooms, five-star accommodation, airy and modern Scandinavian design, eight dining options, two pool choices as well as Viking’s award-winning LivNordic Spa, featuring the Snow Grotto.
