Outrigger Fiji properties are proudly supporting Fiji Kids Learning for Life a registered kids charity (within Australia and Fiji), dedicated to breaking the cycle of poverty in Fiji through education and assisting disadvantaged kids in local communities. The renowned Outrigger Fiji Beach Resort and Castaway Island Fiji have partnered with the charity by offering a seven night accommodation package including breakfast daily and local transfers as part of a raffle prize.
The company believes it is more important than ever during these challenging COVID-19 times to support a country like Fiji that is doing it so tough at the moment, said Australian area director of sales and marketing Ben Johnson.
“We have a social responsibility to the people of Fiji to give them strength and hope during the uncertainty the future holds at the moment. All proceeds from the raffle will help feed Fiji families during this difficult time, and provide school and further education scholarships to some of Fiji’s poorest children.
“As many destinations that are heavily reliant on tourism, Fiji is doing it tough right now, thus Outrigger Fiji Beach Resort and Castaway Island, Fiji welcome the opportunity to once again support Fiji Kids in their main fundraising initiative of the year. Both Outrigger and Castaway focus on developing local talent to work at the resorts in all levels of employment, and to support such an organisation that will, through education provide the tools for ‘careers for life’ is wonderful, with the added benefit of two lucky adults winning a seven-night holiday including return airfares.”

“The response has been heart-warming, with raffle ticket sales already up 16% on the same time last year. It was only launched on Monday September 7, which is extremely encouraging and reiterates Australians love of not only the country but the locals and the communities that visitors have connected with on previous visits to the holiday destination.
There will be a LIVE draw of the raffle on December 5 2020 held at Outrigger Fiji Beach Resort announcing the successful participants.
