The theme of Samsung’s August 5 Galaxy Unpacked event was the ‘Next Normal,’ a theme inspired by the way our lives and concepts of ‘normalcy’ have shifted tremendously in recent times and the key role mobile technology and innovation has in keeping us all moving forward as we work and play.

Along with the introduction of the latest Galaxy mobile innovations, the recent Unpacked event featured appearances from two very special guests – global pop superstar Khalid and legendary gamer Myth, the latest additions to the Team Galaxy.

Where Technology Meets Ambition

With their ‘Next Normal’ ethos, Samsung is seeking to bring users mobile innovations designed with unrelenting adaptability and the facility to incorporate seamlessly into every aspect of daily life. Khalid and Myth are true embodiments of this mindset, as they work to create new forms of expression with the latest technologies available, even in fast-changing times.

Audiences both at the Unpacked event and tuning in via livestream were able to experience Myth demonstrating how the Galaxy Note20 Ultra has given his gameplay a new edge by allowing him to seamlessly transition from console to mobile gaming and back again.

“I’ve been gaming since I was a kid, so it’s crazy to see how the industry has evolved again,” noted Myth. “It doesn’t matter if you’re an experienced mobile gamer or a newcomer, once you get your hands on it, you’ll see there’s nowhere the Galaxy Note20 can’t take you.”

The Unpacked event also saw Khalid show audiences how the Galaxy Note20 enhances his existing creative process while ensuring that he is always connected to his family, friends, fans, and collaborators.

“I’m so hyped to join Team Galaxy,” said Khalid of the announcement. “Creativity isn’t limited to a time or a place, so for me, I need to be able to capture an idea when it hits  – whether that’s a melody or moment to reference later. Plus, now more than ever, it’s so important for me to stay connected with my family and friends all around the world.”
