On 27 July 2020 SWISS will reactivate the refund functionalities in all reservation systems (GDS) for travel agencies. The underlying reason for this is that a considerable part of the older refund applications from our travel agency partners and individual customers has already been paid out. Furthermore, the mechanisms for automated refunds have been adapted to avoid possible fraud. «With the reactivation of the refund functionalities we will be able to further increase the speed at which refunds are being processed», says SWISS CCO Tamur Goudarzi Pour.

This means that the more recent refund applications, including those of our individual customers, will be processed with further reduced waiting times. The aim is to process all refund requests received in June by the end of August.
