After the popularity of its first trade training email series, Viking is launching a second, four-week program dedicated to its brand-new Mississippi River cruises. Agents simply need to register here to receive the weekly emails commencing Wednesday 22 July.

Each week, Viking will send those agents a dedicated learning email that calls out key information about the new destinations and purpose-built ship, Viking Mississippi, as well as where agents can find supporting materials for their own marketing activity.

“With the success of our Expeditions trade training email program and the immense popularity of our brand-new Mississippi River voyages, we’re thrilled to offer even more opportunities for agents to boost their expertise,” said Erin Kramer, Viking Trade Marketing Manager, ANZ.

“Agents who sign up to receive these four dedicated emails will be able to better support their clients interested in this unique river cruise offering while maximising their commission opportunities,” she concluded.

In response to incredibly strong demand, Viking recently announced that a number of 2023 Mississippi River voyages had opened for sale earlier than planned. Some 2022 sailings, only announced in April, are already completely sold out.

Purpose-built for the Mississippi and currently under construction in LouisianaViking Mississippi will be the largest and most modern cruise ship sailing America’s great river. The ship will blend the best of Viking’s river and ocean cruise product to create a sleek, spacious and comfortable way to explore the heart of America.

The five-deck ship will feature cutting-edge design and Scandinavian-inspired spaces that Viking guests will know and love, such as the Explorers’ Lounge, the Living Room and an infinity plunge pool at the aft of the ship. Viking Mississippi will host 386 guests in 193 all-outside staterooms, with seven spacious stateroom categories to choose from. Dining options will include The Restaurant, known for its ever-changing destination-inspired menu, as well as the River Café, a casual al fresco setting serving Mamsen’s Norwegian specialties.
