Known as one of Australia’s most coveted and loved beachside hotels, Halcyon House have announced they will be re-opening from 2 July 2020, following its closure due to COVID-19 restrictions. In anticipation of welcoming guests again, the 21-room multi-award-winning boutique hotel has undergone a deep clean and stringent new health and safety protocols have been implemented to ensure a safe stay for all guests.

To ensure every guest feels safe and comfortable, operational adjustments have been made in order for social distancing guidelines to be adhered to. For the time being, Halcyon House’s restaurant, Paper Daisy, will be open exclusively to in-house guests for breakfast and lunch, and will open to the public for dinner. All in-house guests will also now receive a 4-course dinner at Paper Daisy each night as part of their stay. Additionally, a number of hand sanitising stations will be located throughout the hotel, and the cleaning and disinfecting of all surfaces will be carried out regularly.

“As we plan for these openings, the health and safety of our guests and employees is at the forefront of all we do. Getting many of our employees back to work and welcoming guests through our doors once again will allow us to do what we do best – delivering thoughtful experiences and intuitive service to ensure guests have a truly memorable holiday. Northern NSW is a wonderful region to visit with warm winters and uncrowded pristine beaches. The team is ready and we can’t wait,” said Halcyon House’s General Manager, Mauro De Riso.

“COVID-19 has impacted greatly on the tourism and hospitality industry, so with the help of Tourism Australia’s #HolidayHereThisYear campaign, we are hopeful and optimistic that many Australians will choose to support our industry and regional communities. We would love to welcome guests to our slice of paradise at Cabarita Beach,” continued Mauro.

With these additional measures in place, Halcyon House are looking forward to offering an increased level of service and attentiveness as they welcome guests back to the hotel. Bookings can be made now via www.halcyonhouse.com.
