Surfers and families across Victoria can now catch waves in Bali with their own gear, thanks to a great new Avalon Airport exclusive deal in partnership with Citilink Indonesia, offering passengers the opportunity to bring their surfboards on board the flight at no cost until the end of March 2020.

Citilink Indonesia’s all-inclusive fares begin from $168 one way. Taxes, 10kg luggage (and 7kg hand luggage) and standard meal are included in this fare, and until the end of March surfboards are included for free.

The exciting new offer comes off the back of Melbourne Avalon Airport’s recent announcement promising affordable and competitive parking prices for domestic and international travellers during February and March.

Melbourne Avalon Airport, located just 50kms from Melbourne’s CBD, has slashed its parking fees by 25 per cent across all short term and long term parking areas, offering a convenient way for Victorians to travel without the hassle and worry of being slapped with a hefty parking bill.

CEO of Melbourne Avalon Airport, Justin Giddings, said: “Our priority is to continuously make travel easier and more affordable for all Australians. This is why we are so proud to have partnered with Citilink Indonesia to not only offer competitive low fares, but also great deals such as free transport of surfboards and cheaper parking.”

“We actively find ways to protect our customers’ hip pockets so they can spend more on their holiday and less on things like parking bills,” Mr Giddings said.

Melbourne Avalon Airport, owned by the Linfox Group, launched its new low cost direct flight to Denpasar, Bali with Citilink Indonesia earlier this year. A subsidiary of Garuda, Citilink flies from Avalon Airport multiple times per week.

“We’re thrilled to have Citilink Indonesia on board. Bali has always been a popular holiday destination for Victorians and it’s one of our most requested international locations. By flying with Avalon, travellers can now go to Bali completely stress-free,” Mr Giddings said.

“There are so many great, but unknown benefits that come with flying via Avalon Airport. It means cheaper parking, less waiting time, no queues, on-time departures, free trolleys, no hassles and high quality, friendly service,” he said.
