The National Trust-listed Blue Mountains YHA is a perfect base for upcoming events in the area including live music, sculptures at Scenic World and the legendary Winter Magic Festival.

The region has a jam-packed calendar of festivals and events over coming weeks and months for visitors to this stunning World Heritage area. Blue Mountains YHA, in the heart of Katoomba is located in an Art Deco former Cabaret Club, and is just a stone’s throw from the action.

Step back to a bygone era at the Roaring 20s Festival, including a gold-coin donation Charleston for Charity Dance on 8 February 2020 at Medlow Bath (just a hop, skip and a foxtrot from Katoomba).

For a rockin’ getaway for Valentines weekend, stride over the road to see The Strides – a rollicking 8-piece reggae band performing on 15 February 2020 – save with YHA’s “Bed & Band” special.

Walking distance from the YHA, the ninth annual Sculpture at Scenic World exhibition runs from 9 April 2020 for a month, with oversize artworks surrounded by lush forests.

On 20 June 2020, the vibrant Winter Magic Festival will sprinkle its fairy dust over Katoomba, with market stalls, processions and bursts of creativity in celebration of the winter solstice.

Blue Mountains YHA has a range of accommodation from multi-share (dormitory) style rooms, to private en-suites and family rooms, all at great value prices, along with cosy communal areas and a large self-catering kitchen. Book at www.yha.com.au
