Cruise & Maritime Voyages (CMV) has reaffirmed its commitment to agent partners in 2020, with the company announcing a restructure of their Sales team in Australia and New Zealand.

Damien Wolff and Greg Morris are the latest additions to the strong and experienced CMV Sales team, further strengthening CMV’s ability to provide exemplary service and sales support.

“We are thrilled to be officially welcoming both Damien and Greg to the CMV team over the next two months and continuing our unwavering support of our travel agent community,” says Darren Chigwidden, National Sales Manager of CMV Australia and New Zealand.

“Greg’s strong experience in cruise and touring will be invaluable to us and our growing agent community in Queensland, where we continue to see increased demand for our traditional product. We are also looking forward to having Damien on the road in South Australia, where his varied tourism background will support our agent partners in the region.”

Greg Morris will commence with CMV in early February as a Business Development Manager dedicated to Queensland, becoming the key contact for travel agents across the state and assisting with local area marketing, training and events.

Offering more than 15 years of experience in the travel industry, Greg has most recently worked with Globus Family of Brands as a Business Development Manager and as the Sales Manager for Scenic Tours in Northern Queensland.

Damien will commence with CMV in late January on a temporary contract and will be based out of Adelaide. As Business Development Manager, which is a new position in the region designed to assist with growing enquiry across the state, Damien will assist with training and sales support for travel agents in South Australia.

He joins CMV with a wealth of tourism and cruise experience, having worked onboard Fred Olsen Cruise Lines, as well as Business Development roles with All Leisure UK, Carnival Australia, Great Southern Rail, and Scenic and Evergreen Tours. Damien looks forward to continuing his relationships with SA agency partners, and moving back to his roots in traditional, small-ship ocean cruising.

Bronwen Milsom will continue to be the key contact for agents in Western Australia, and Darren Chigwidden’s position will remain unchanged, leading the sales team while managing key accounts and supporting agents in all other territories across Australia and New Zealand.

Faye Larrarte will be stepping down from her role supporting agents in New South Wales and Queensland at the start of February, moving on to pursue other opportunities.

“Faye has been an important member of our Sales team and we wish her all the best as she pursues new opportunities in her career,” continues Darren.

“Our ongoing restructure of the Sales team has been designed to better support our travel agents, and we are currently recruiting for a Sales team member to support the New South Wales and Victoria regions. In the meantime, our existing team is dedicated to facilitating a smooth transition in appointments and departures for our agent partners.”
