A route steeped in history, the ‘Way of the Gods’ connects two of Italy’s most important art cities. It owes its name to the surrounding mountains such as Mount Adonis, Mount Jupiter, Mount Venus and Mount Lunario (after Roman goddess Lua). You will walk on an ancient Roman road from Piazza Maggiore in the heart of Bologna to Piazza della Signoria, the main square of Florence.

VIA DINARICA

Follow one of the original – and most breathtaking stretches! – of the Via Dinarica long-distance mountainous walking trail that spans 1,200 miles across seven Balkan countries, from Slovenia to Albania. MAGNA VIA FRANCIGENA

An ancient route officially reopened in 2017 in celebration of its rich historical and cultural legacy as a trade route connecting Africa and the Middle East to Europe.
