A record number of families will sail with P&O Cruises when Pacific Adventure joins the fleet next year with exciting attractions including Adventure’s dual-racing waterslide — the ‘Twin Racer’ — and a pool that is an integral part of a new family-dedicated entertainment area. The latest ship to call Australia home will also sport the P&O Edge Adventure Park with a flying fox on the top deck and rock climbing wall with panoramic views.

P&O will carry more than 200,000 people travelling in families or family groups across its fleet after the 3000-guest ship’s arrival.

Pacific Adventure will offer the greatest choice of accommodation options in P&O’s history with new fiveberth family cabins and a record number of interconnecting rooms.

P&O’s newest ship will also be the first in the market to offer two-bedroom Family Suites that sleep up to eight guests.

Each ship in the P&O Cruises fleet offers something for all age groups from children to the young-at-heart across the greatest choice of school holiday voyages in the cruise market.

P&O Cruises President Sture Myrmell said it was this commitment to offer ‘something for everyone’ that meant the cruise line was popular with families and friends across all age groups.

“P&O Cruises will carry more families and family groups than ever before and more than any other cruise line in this market in 2021,” Mr Myrmell said.

“It makes it even easier for Aussie families to take a cruise holiday together because there is so much choice once you are on-board.

“We know that families like to travel together and celebrate big moments but they also like their freedom to have a kind of mini-holiday within a holiday.

“They get to spend time with each other and reconnecting but, at the same time, there is so much variety in food, entertainment and activities that they can also do their own thing when it suits.”
P&O’s latest program includes the greatest choice of school holiday cruises to date with a range of
