On the 24th of December 2019, The Beach House, Santiburi’s sublime sea-facing restaurant invites guests to celebrate a fun-filled Christmas Eve with their family. The evening starts at 6.30 pm with a cocktail party, allowing loved ones to relax and soak up the spirit of the holidays. This will be followed by a delectable dinner that includes an abundance of appetisers, mains, sides, desserts and other surprises, plus many live cooking stations.
For starters, guests can discover our chef’s secret truffled Canadian lobster bisque, traditional homemade gravadlax, wagyu beef tartare or Spanish pata negra ham. It wouldn’t be Christmas without carved meats, and Santiburi will showcase a wide range of live stations plus a seafood barbecue with ocean-fresh delicacies. But don’t forget to save room for dessert! Live flambéed crêpes, a Christmas Log, and a choice of international cheeses are just some of the ways diners can finish off this mouth-watering meal.
Of course, Christmas is a family occasion, and little ones will be offered fun activities throughout the evening such as a gingerbread man decorating contest, a kids’ movie theatre and a special junior food court. Gifts will be placed under the Christmas tree as kids wait for Santa Claus who will be making a special guest appearance! All-evening childcare is available to allow parents to relax and enjoy a stress-free evening accompanied by live music from our trio band (singer, guitar and sax), an animation dance and breath-taking fire show.
As 2019 draws to a close and the world prepares to welcome a new decade, Santiburi invites guests to “Sparkle and Shine” on the seashore with a glittering New Year’s Eve party! Put on your party clothes and head to the poolside for a stylish soirée next to the shimmering waters of one of Samui’s largest pools. Sip a cool cocktail or two while our photographer captures stunning shots of you looking fabulous.
Follow the torchlights that line the walkways through lush landscaped gardens to The Beach House where Santiburi’s expert chefs will create a mesmerising moonlit feast. Savour some of the world’s most indulgent culinary delights such as freshly-shucked French oysters, caviar, hand-cut sashimi and sushi, and a live station featuring yellowfin tuna and Alaskan king crab. Then stroll over to the sandy beach for a sumptuous seafood barbecue, a traditional carvery with succulent prime cuts, and an array of exquisite Thai and Asian creations. Naturally, this buffet will conclude with a selection of sweet treats and divine desserts.
During and after dinner, a live band, laser dance show and fire show will keep you enthralled and entertained. Finally, as the clock ticks down to midnight, the skies above Santiburi will sparkle and shine with a countdown party and spectacular firework display.
