Tigerair Australia is nearing the end of its ‘tweenage’ years and to mark its 12th birthday milestone Australia’s youngest commercial airline is doing things a little differently to celebrate this year … by throwing a no fanfare, just low fare sale.

There’ll be no party, no candles and no cake but travelers will still be in for a treat from midday this Wednesday 20 November as the airline throws a crazy network-wide birthday (schm-irthday) sale, with fares starting from just $39.95^ on selected routes.

Tigerair Australia’s Public Affairs Manager, Breanna Gaymer, said that while it was cause for celebration, the airline’s birthday was just another day to provide travelers with Tigerair’s trademark everyday low fares.

It’s Tigerair’s birthday, and to celebrate, the whole crew will be doing what they do best – flying planes, floating through the clouds and taking our customers to the amazing destinations we fly to across Australia.

“This year we’ve decided that there’ll be no birthday fanfare, just low fares – we know that’s what our customers want so it’s ‘Birthday Schmirthday’ for us as we continue to provide great value that everyone can get excited for.”

Airfares are available across Tigerair Australia’s domestic routes, with the vast amount of travel between late January – March 2020. To grab a bargain, simply purchase an airfare to your destination of choice and get in quick to secure the best value deals.

Tigerair Australia and good deals go together like a meat pie at the footy so it’s a good thing the airline has just released its refreshed Tigerair Mobile App where customers can now access the latest sale fares straight from their pocket, as well as a host of new features available including:

– At check-in customers can now add extras, change seats and seamlessly store boarding passes for their whole travel party or save direct to their Apple Wallet (iOS) or Google Pay (Android) – Tigerair is now one of two Australian airlines to have ‘quick access’ options through shortcuts across both iOS and Android devices so customers can simply start a flight booking, check flight status or view bookings – The ability to check any booking details within the app whenever and wherever you are – All new flight status function with the App so customers can stay up to date The ‘No fanfare. Just low fares’ sale commences at midday AEDT today and runs until midday AEDT Saturday 23 November (or until seats are sold out). Tigerair Australia also accepts ZIP Pay so you can fly now and pay later+.
