The AA has announced a collaboration with one the world’s largest online travel companies that will offer AA Members discounts on accommodation options in New Zealand and worldwide.
Under the AA’s new agreement with Expedia Partner Solutions (EPS), a B2B brand of Expedia Group, AA Members are able to take advantage of Member-only discounts (on average an extra 10%) on select Expedia Group properties.
AA Members are able to book more than 600,000 properties and 50,000 activities and attractions globally, plus a wide range of packaged options including flights, accommodation, transfers and activities and attractions.
AA Travel & Tourism General Manager Greig Leighton said the AA is delighted to offer such an extensive range of travel options to AA Members through the new relationship.
“Expedia Partner Solutions will provide AA Members who book accommodation in New Zealand or worldwide, with one of the best ranges of accommodation available, and more flexible payment options with the opportunity to pay at the time of booking or at the hotel,” Greig said.
“This new collaboration complements our current Tourism Member Benefits, including discounts on vehicle rentals through Hertz and GO Rentals; campervan rentals through Maui, Britz, and Mighty; ferry tickets through Interislander; train tickets through Scenic Trains and travel insurance through AA Travel Insurance.
“Now AA Members have everything they need to have a fantastic holiday in New Zealand or overseas.”

AA Members are able to take advantage of the Member discounts on selected Expedia Group properties by entering their AA Membership details when booking through aatraveller.co.nz.
This is the second new tourism relationship the AA has announced in recent months. AA and Hertz New Zealand launched a new global car rental partnership on 1 October, giving AA Members 15% off the best rate of the day for Hertz rentals domestically, and 10% off the best rate of the day in selected global locations. In addition, AA Members and AA Smartfuel cardholders receive a 5c per litre AA Smartfuel discount on up to 50 litres of fuel with every Hertz New Zealand rental booking.
