Qasr Al Sarab Desert Resort by Anantara has announced a range of exceptional new experiences and upgrades to mark its 10th anniversary. The award-winning desert retreat, which turns 10 on Thursday 7th November, is bringing new levels of comfort and enjoyment to its guests with an array of captivating experiences.

Guests can now enjoy the magic of the desert underneath a canopy of stars with Qasr Al Sarab’s new desert Bedouin Night Camping Experience, where they spend the night in Bedouin-style tents deep among the dunes. Guests can choose an authentic camel transfer to the overnight camping site or they can opt for a 4×4 drop off. The Majlis area welcomes guests to the start of their experience with Arabic coffee and dates and check-in to their exclusive camp rooms overlooking the dunes. Dining includes an authentic Emirate dinner in the Hadheera (Arabic dining area), followed by an array of modern breakfast options in the morning. Guests also get the chance to enjoy archery, falcon shows, learn about hunting and dune bashing to name a few activities.

The resort is also introducing exciting new dining options. The new-look Ghadeer restaurant opens its doors on November 8th with a tantalising new menu, a pizza oven and charming Mediterranean décor. The renowned Al Waha restaurant is bringing desert-style dining to life with new theme-night buffets, while the outdoor Al Falaj restaurant is adding a zarb oven and live cooking experiences, offering diners even more immersive ways to experience traditional Arabic cuisine.

Qasr Al Sarab continues to safeguard the wellbeing of its guests, its oasis and the diverse nature surrounding the resort. Wellness travellers, in particular, have much to look forward to with the launch of new treatments to mark the renovation of the resort’s spa, along with a choice of new wellness offers, such as hot yoga.

Qasr Al Sarab’s new experiences will be accompanied by additions and improvements outside and inside the resort. These include a fully equipped, multi-purpose outdoor events area in the desert that can cater for up to 200 guests, technology upgrades across all room categories, a new kids’ club with a range of activities, and upgrades to the existing ballroom.

The resort is entering its 11th year on a high note after receiving worldwide recognition this year. It was ranked the 10th best resort in the Middle East in the Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards 2019 and was voted the Most Instagrammable Hotel in the World by the readers of Luxury Travel Advisor in March.
