More than 15,000 people planning to hit the road these Christmas holidays are expected to attend the Let’s Go Brisbane Caravan and Outdoor Show at the Brisbane Showgrounds from today.

Over the next four days (October 31 to November 3) more than 100 exhibitors will showcase a large range of recreational vehicles including caravans, camper trailers, motorhomes and campervans, plus budget-friendly camping accessories.

The event run by Caravanning Queensland will see new products launched, including Australian designed vehicles boasting never-before-seen engineering innovation.

To help outdoor adventurers prepare for the holiday season, the show will also feature daily Weight and Towing Masterclasses and a pop up kitchen with Channel Seven Creek to Coast presenter Scott Hillier.

Brisbane Showgrounds General Manager of Venue Sales and Marketing Jago Coyle said the popular caravan and outdoor show had been held at the Showgrounds for 35 years.

“We’re proud of our long association with Caravanning Queensland – their mid-year Queensland Caravan, Camping and Touring Supershow has been held at our venue for an incredible 41 years,” he said.

“The caravan show kicks off a busy month at the Showgrounds, with many large outdoor events taking place including the RNB Fridays Live music festival on November 15 which is expecting almost 30,000 people.”

The Let’s Go Brisbane Caravan and Outdoor Show will roll into the Brisbane Showgrounds from 9.30am to 5pm each day.

The 22 hectare Brisbane Showgrounds precinct is located just 1.5km from Brisbane’s CBD and is Queensland’s largest indoor / outdoor events site.
