Departing in December 2019, two Silversea voyages will be enriched by immersive new shore experiences, which guests will enjoy on a complimentary basis.

In Melbourne, the cruise line’s guests will discover Australia’s enthralling operatic culture at an exclusive performance from the country’s most beloved tenor, Mark Vincent; in Castries, St. Lucia, travellers will delve deeper into local tradition at a bespoke, entertainment-filled beach party at the iconic Pigeon Island National Landmark.

The featured voyages and their exclusive shore experiences are as follows:

AUSTRALIA & NEW ZEALAND

Mark Vincent Concert: In Melbourne on 8 December, one of the finest recording artists in Australia will take to the stage to perform exclusively for Silversea guests. At the city’s concert venue, guests will be welcomed with cocktails and canapés before they settle into their seats to enjoy the exceptional talents of Mark Vincent and his musical band. An internationally renowned singer, Vincent is the only classical artist in Australia’s history to have released six albums by the time he was 20, and has sold more than 500,000 albums worldwide. At age 15, the singer burst onto the music scene with a remarkable rendition of Nessun Dorma on Australia’s Got Talent, and has since performed alongside such stars as Whitney Houston, Katherine Jenkins, The Priests, Kate Ceberano, and Susan Boyle.

Voyage 6931: Silver Muse’s 14-day sailing departs Sydney for Auckland on 6 December 2019, calling in Melbourne and Hobart (Tasmania), before cruising the breath-taking Milford Sound, Doubtful Sound, and Dusky Sound. Subsequently, Silversea’s flagship will call in Dunedin (Port Chalmers), Lyttelton (Christchurch), Picton, and Tauranga (Bay of Plenty), before arriving in Auckland, New Zealand, on December 20, 2019. Last-Minute Savings fares start from AU$6,900 per person based on double occupancy in a Vista Suite which includes US$1000 on board credit per suite, plus a one category suite upgrade, when booking by 31 October 2019. 

THE CARIBBEAN

Silversea Beach Cocktail Party: On 10 December, during Silver Wind’s call in Castries, St. Lucia, an evening of food, fun and frivolity awaits guests at an exclusive beach cocktail party. The bespoke event will take place at the Pigeon Island National Landmark, a living museum situated on a picturesque isle, which is connected to the mainland by a causeway. In this natural setting, guests will listen to the delightful music of a steel band as they watch amusing stilt walkers, death-defying fire-eaters, and energetic limbo dancers. Guests will admire the creations of local artisans on their stroll to the beach where the finale of their fun-filled evening includes a bonfire, culinary delicacies, drinks, entertainment, and dancing under the stars.

Voyage 2934: Silver Wind’s nine-day sailing departs San Juan for Fort Lauderdale on December 8, 2019, calling in Gustavia (St. Barthelemy), Castries (St. Lucia), St. John’s, Philipsburg (St. Maarten), Spanish Town, and La Romana. Last-Minute Savings fares start from AU$3,900 per person, based on double occupancy in a Vista Suite. Guests booking by 30 November 2019 will enjoy a complimentary shore excursion in every port.
