Yet another cruise sale – this time Princess

I have said it many times – but it is worth repeating – cruise lines have more sales than Harvey Norman. Just how much you benefit however is debatable. The latest comes from Princess Cruises – offering up to 40% off. I can’t recommend this line because I have never sailed with them – but they are fairly major operators out of Australia these days. The deals include NZ (interior) from $1459 3rd/4th guests sail from $599. Sale ends October 24. See here

Sunlight the latest answer to jetlag

A study of passengers travelling on long haul Qantas flights has revealed the tricks travellers are using to minimise jetlag. More than 50% used ear plugs or noise cancelling headsets to help them sleep. Thirty-eight per cent drank alcohol to aid their sky slumber and 10% used sleeping tablets. The study also revealed what passengers aren’t doing – making a conscious effort to venture out into the sunshine upon arrival – a proven way to overcome jetlag.
