Condé Nast Traveler this week announced the results of its annual Readers’ Choice Awards with David Citadel Hotel recognized as the #4 Top Hotel in the Middle East and Mamilla Hotel as the #5 Top Hotel in the Middle East. The recognition in the top 15 hotels in the Middle East region makes the David Citadel and Mamilla Hotel the top hotels in Jerusalem and all of Israel.

The Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards are the longest-running and most prestigious recognition of excellence in the travel industry and are commonly known as “the best of the best of travel.” The full list of winners can be found here.
More than 600,000 Condé Nast Traveler readers across the globe submitted a record-breaking number of responses rating their travel experiences to provide a full snapshot of where and how we travel today.
“Being listed among the world’s top hotels and the best in Israel is both thrilling and humbling,” said Rodney Sanders, General Manager, David Citadel. “The honor of being recognized by Conde Nast Traveler’s discerning readership for our hospitality is a testament to our team’s dedication to excellence, especially in one of the most competitive regions in the world.'”
Developed and owned by Alrov Hotels, the David Citadel Hotel and the Mamilla Hotel are two of Israel’s most lauded hotel properties. The David Citadel and Mamilla hotels perfectly embody Alrov’s focus on prime city locations with unique heritage, enhanced by contemporary design. Both hotels enjoy an unrivaled setting at the crossroads of the city’s past and present: just a short stroll to the Jaffa Gate and the Old City, where visitors can experience the unique ancient cultural sites that Jerusalem is famous for, while also being steps away from the capital’s newest shops, galleries, and restaurants.
The 2019 Readers’ Choice Awards are published on Condé Nast Traveler’s website at www.cntraveler.com/rca and celebrated in the November issue of Condé Nast Traveler US and UK print editions.
