Emirates Paul Jury

Once upon a time there were representatives for 14 airlines in Adelaide including Air India. Back in the days when SKAL membership was an essential if you wanted to meet the right people in the travel industry, they were the leading lights of the industry. People like Brian Burford AI, Richard Green (MAS) and Steve Abbott (JAL).

Slowly and surely however the offices closed – the most recent being Singapore Airlines. A few months ago the industry in SA said farewell to the Emirates team including long serving and popular manager Paul Jury. The closure has disappointed a lot of people including former sales manager Maurice Baggio. According to well known Adelaide travel agent Gail Russo it was a privilege to know the team. “To all who worked there, especially my FB buddies Adam Warren, Denise Cook and Sue Caporaso: Thank you so much for your help and your professionalism for all these years. I feel so privileged to have had the opportunity to get to know you and the wonderful SQ ADL team.

You will be missed but I know there will be exciting chapters yet to write for you all. Thank you so much.”
