The Canadian Arctic isn’t the only destination Adventure Canada offers expedition cruises to. In 2021, the eco-focused company will offer five expedition voyages in northern Europe, including a brand, new Basque Country cruise showcasing the wild scenery and unique, age-old traditions of the Basque culture centred around the Bay of Biscay.

In June and July, 2021, Adventure Canada’s European sojourns will feature the maiden Basque Country cruise, a voyage around the top of Scotland, journey from Scotland to Iceland, a circumnavigation of Iceland and an expedition from Iceland to Greenland.

Representing Adventure Canada’s cruises in Australia, Cruise Traveller is offering a 15 per cent earlybird saving on Adventure Canada’s five European expeditions in 2021 plus a free, one-night stay before each of the cruises for bookings made by June 1, 2020.

The five Europe stay-and-cruise packages range from 10 to 12 nights and, including the 15 per cent discount, are available from US$5295 per person, twin-share, or also for solo passengers – free of a supplement – in selected cabins, subject to availability.  The cruises are aboard Adventure Canada’s 198-passenger, eco-friendly vessel, Ocean Endeavour. The deadline for earlybird saver bookings is June 1, 2020.

The new 10-night Basque Country package starting on June 2, 2021, begins with a free night’s stay in Balbao, Spain, followed by a nine-night cruise across the Bay of Biscay to Brest in France. Ports include the picturesque, cobblestoned town of San Sebastian where the traditional, tapas-like snack of pintxos can be enjoyed amongst the highest concentration of bars in the world. The cruise also takes in the French wine capital of Bordeaux and the Brittany island of Belle Ile. Including the 15 per cent discount, the Basque Country package is available from US$5775 per person, twin-share, or for solo passengers – free of a supplement – in selected cabins, subject to availability.  The deadline for earlybird saver bookings is June 1, 2020.
