Celebrity-loved Vive Cake Boutique welcomes this year’s Mid-Autumn Festival with exquisite Shortcrusted Custard Mooncakesand premium gourmet hampers.

Wowing gourmands upon its debut last year, VIVE’s mooncake creation is back by popular demand.  The Shortcrusted Custard Mooncake is made with a delicious and distinctive cookie crust-like puff pastry infused with the essence of coconut. A rich and creamy custard is discovered upon each bite, leaving a decadent and lasting impression.

VIVE’s handcrafted mooncakes comes in an Artistry Mooncake Gift Box (HK$480), with 4 pieces of Short-crusted Golden Custard Mooncakes and 4 pieces of Short-crusted Lava Custard Mooncakes – presented in a whimsically and elegantly designed eco-friendly box, conceptualised by Founder, Vivien Lau;  orClassic Mooncake and Organic Tea Gift Box (HK$420), featuring both flavours of Mooncakes (2 of each flavour), and VIVE Organic Taiwan Tea (Alpine Roast, Oriental Beauty and Golden Honey) 12 packets.

Bearing the traits of magic, exuberance, and fun, this year’s mooncake box features the brand’s iconic unicorn gracefully galloping through over pastel pink and blue mountains, against a clear sky, with a beautiful full moon in the background.  Opening up like a delicate chest of drawers, the box is designed to be reused for multiple purposes, from holding one’s favourite jewellery to serving as a stationery holder.

VIVE’s Short-crusted Custard Mooncakes are available for pick up from 23 August to 13 September at HK$480. Early birds who place their order before 15 August may enjoy an additional discount of 5% off upon purchase 1-19 boxes, 10% off upon purchase 20-49 boxes, 15% off upon purchase 50-99 boxes and 20% off upon purchase 100 boxes or more.

A variety of mooncake hampers are available, featuring the Premium Mid-Autumn Hamper (HK$790), embracing VIVE’s Shortcrusted Golden Custard Mooncakes (4 pieces), Shortcrusted Lava Custard Mooncake (4 pieces), VIVE Handmade Cookies (3 tins), and VIVE Organic Taiwan Tea (15 packets).

A Deluxe Mid-Autumn Hamper (HK$680) presents VIVE’s Shortcrusted Golden Custard Mooncakes (2 pieces) and Shortcrusted Lava Custard Mooncake (2 pieces), VIVE Organic Taiwan Tea (Alpine Roast, Oriental Beauty, and Golden Honey) 12 packets, VIVE Handmade Meringue (3 boxes) and 1 box of VIVE Assorted Handmade Cookies (40 pieces).

Vive Cake Boutique has proved a roaring success story since being launched with online orders in 2014 by founder and creative director Vivien Lau, who discovered her passion and talent by chance, making her first cake for a friend’s birthday.
